QuotaPath charges per user plus a monthly platform fee, so the real entry cost is higher than the per-seat number alone. QuotaPath is a good product and the most-adopted commission tool on the HubSpot marketplace. This guide just explains how the pricing adds up, because the platform fee is easy to miss and it changes who the tool suits.
The two parts of the price
QuotaPath’s paid plan has two pieces:
- Per user, per month. Around 35 US dollars for each person you track.
- A platform fee. About 525 US dollars per month, on top of the per-user cost.
Put together, the entry point works out near 6,300 US dollars a year before you have added many seats. Pricing changes, so check QuotaPath’s own pricing page for the current numbers. The shape is what matters here, not the exact figure.
Why the platform fee matters for a small team
The per-user price is easy to work out. Ten reps at 35 dollars is 350 a month. The part that surprises small teams is the platform fee, because it does not shrink as the team shrinks.
For a team of two, that fixed fee is shared by two people. For a team of twenty, it is shared by twenty. It is the same fee either way, but split across fewer people. So the smaller your team, the bigger a share of your bill the platform fee becomes. A three-person team can end up paying most of its bill just to have the platform switched on.
This is not a criticism of QuotaPath. A platform fee is a normal way to price software. It just means the tool is built for teams past a certain size.
Who QuotaPath is right for
- Teams big enough to spread the platform fee. Once you have a decent number of reps, the fixed fee per head is small and the tool is good value.
- Teams that want a proven, marketplace choice. QuotaPath has real adoption on HubSpot and handles complex plans well.
- Teams expecting to grow. If you will be past ten reps soon, buying for that size can make sense.
Who might look elsewhere
A two-to-ten rep team with a real comp plan, where the platform fee is a big share of the bill. For that team, a flat-priced tool or, for a flat plan, a spreadsheet, can be a better fit. See QuotaPath alternatives for small teams and the best commission tracking for HubSpot.
Where Provikka fits
We are building Provikka for the small end of this, a flat price with unlimited users, so there is no per-seat bill and no separate platform fee to spread across a tiny team. It is early and the waitlist is open.
