How commission is calculated
HubSpot does not calculate commissions for you. Most small teams do the math by hand in a spreadsheet. This free calculator does it instead.
For a flat plan, commission is simply total sales times the rate. If your plan has an accelerator, the base rate applies up to the target and the higher rate applies to the amount above it. If you pay on collection, only deals the customer has actually paid count toward commission. If a deal is split, each rep gets their share.
